Book Fionn Whitehead

Fionn Whitehead is an English actor who leapt from a London coffee shop job to the lead of a Christopher Nolan epic. Raised in Richmond by jazz musician parents, he started acting at the Orange Tree Theatre at 13 and trained through the National Youth Theatre's summer course. His first screen credit was the 2016 ITV miniseries Him, and the next year he starred as the young soldier at the center of Nolan's Dunkirk (2017), with Nolan likening him to a young Tom Courtenay. He went straight on to Richard Eyre's The Children Act opposite Emma Thompson and Stanley Tucci, performed on stage in Glenn Waldron's Natives, and appeared in the monologue series Queers. In 2018 he played Stefan Butler in the interactive Black Mirror: Bandersnatch, and the same year earned an European Film Award nomination for the People's Choice Award. Later work includes Sebastian Schipper's Roads (2019), the Martin Scorsese-produced Port Authority (2019), The Duke (2020), Don't Tell a Soul (2020) and Emily (2022), the drama about Emily Brontë. Whitehead brings the presence of a rising British lead with a striking range of work.
