Book Sophie Skelton
Sophie Skelton is an English actress best known to a worldwide audience as Brianna on the Starz drama Outlander. Cast in 2016, she began as a recurring player opposite Richard Rankin's Roger MacKenzie and joined the main cast from the fourth season onward. Skelton built her career in British television, guest-starring in 2013 on CBBC's award-winning The Dumping Ground, in BBC One's Waterloo Road as Eve during its ninth series, and on the long-running medical drama Doctors, to which she returned in 2015. She went on to appear in ITV's period mystery Foyle's War, a twelve-episode run as Sofia Matthews on the CBBC sitcom So Awkward, and two episodes of BBC One's Casualty. Her first film role came in The War I Knew (2014), the story of a Second World War paratrooper behind enemy lines, and her first lead was in the 2016 fantasy-horror short Blackbird. Her breakout came that same year in the fantasy adventure series Ren: The Girl with the Mark, which won her the top lead actress prize at the Hyperdrive Sci-Fi and Fantasy Film Festival. Skelton brings a passionate Outlander fan base.
