Book Courtney Henggeler

Courtney Henggeler is an American actress best known as Amanda LaRusso, wife of the original Karate Kid hero Daniel LaRusso, on the Netflix series Cobra Kai. She landed the starring role in 2018 after years of steady guest and recurring work, and it became her breakthrough. Sitcom fans also know her as Missy Cooper, Sheldon Cooper's twin sister on The Big Bang Theory, a part she played in 2008 and again in 2018. Henggeler started her screen career with a lead role in the horror film The Bog Creatures in 2003, and two years later she guest starred on the medical drama House. She later had a recurring role on the CBS comedy Mom and appeared in Hulu's holiday horror anthology Into the Dark in 2019. Her film work also includes The Boys in the Boat (2023). In April 2025, after two decades in the business, she announced that she was stepping away from acting. Fans of both shows know her for warmth, humor and candid stories about life as a working actor.
