Book Connor McDavid

Connor McDavid is the Canadian superstar who captains the Edmonton Oilers and is celebrated for breathtaking speed and vision. Granted exceptional player status by Hockey Canada in 2012, he began junior hockey at 15 after the Erie Otters made him the first pick of the OHL draft. His final junior season in 2014–15 brought 120 points and honors including the Red Tilson Trophy, the Wayne Gretzky 99 Award and CHL Player of the Year, and he won gold medals for Canada at the World U18 Championships in 2013 and the World Juniors in 2015. Edmonton selected him first overall in the 2015 NHL draft, and even with a broken clavicle costing him three months as a rookie, he made the All-Rookie Team and was a Calder Memorial Trophy finalist. The next year the Oilers named him the youngest captain in league history, and he responded with a 100-point season, winning the Hart Memorial Trophy, the Art Ross Trophy and the Ted Lindsay Award in 2017. He repeated as Art Ross and Ted Lindsay winner in 2018. McDavid brings the excitement of the game's most dazzling skater and the poise of a franchise leader.
