Book Cindy Parlow Cone
Cindy Parlow Cone is one of American soccer's most accomplished figures, a champion on the field who rose to lead the sport's national governing body. A forward for the U.S. women's national team, she won two Olympic gold medals and was part of the squad that captured the 1999 FIFA Women's World Cup. Before that she starred at the University of North Carolina, where she was a four-time All-American, helped the Tar Heels win three NCAA titles and earned the Hermann Trophy in both 1997 and 1998. She also played professionally for the Atlanta Beat. Moving to the sideline, she coached the Portland Thorns to the first-ever NWSL championship in 2013. Parlow Cone then served on several U.S. Soccer committees, became vice president in 2019 and took over as president in March 2020, winning a full four-year term in 2022. In 2025 she was elected to the FIFA Council. She was inducted into the National Soccer Hall of Fame in 2018. As a speaker she offers rare insight on winning at the highest level, leadership in sport and the growth of the women's game.
