Book Calum Worthy
Calum Worthy is a Canadian actor and writer from Victoria, British Columbia, best known to a generation of Disney Channel fans as the lovable, offbeat Dez Wade on Austin & Ally, a series for which he also wrote an episode. He began acting at nine with a guest spot on Fox's Night Visions, directed by Bill Pullman, and at ten starred in the miniseries I Was a Rat. Worthy won Young Artist Awards for Leading Young Actor for the comedy National Lampoon's Thanksgiving Family Reunion (2003) and the science fiction series Stormworld (2009), and Stormworld also brought him a Leo Award in 2010. His guest roles span Kyle XY, Supernatural, Smallville, Flashpoint, R. L. Stine's The Haunting Hour: The Series, Good Luck Charlie and Zeke and Luther. As an adult he moved into sharper material, playing Alex Trimboli in the Netflix mockumentary American Vandal and Nicholas Godejohn in Hulu's true-crime drama The Act, and he appears as himself in The Coppertop Flop Show. With 50-plus film and television projects made in five countries, from Canada and Australia to Singapore, Worthy brings youthful energy and a creator's eye for comedy.
