Book Busted
Busted is the pop-punk trio from Southend-on-Sea, Essex, featuring James Bourne, Charlie Simpson and Matt Willis, whose energetic, guitar-driven songs made them one of the defining British pop acts of the early 2000s. Formed in 2000, they broke through with debut single "What I Go to School For" (2002) and the albums Busted (2002) and A Present for Everyone (2003), winning two Brit Awards and The Record of the Year along the way. After the original run ended in 2005, Simpson fronted Fightstar, Bourne led Son of Dork and Willis worked as a solo artist, while Bourne and Willis also joined forces with members of McFly in McBusted. The trio reunited in 2015, toured arenas on the Pigs Can Fly run in 2016 and released Night Driver that year, followed by Half Way There in 2019. In 2023 they celebrated their 20th anniversary with the compilation Greatest Hits 2.0 and another arena tour. On stage, Busted deliver high-energy harmonies, cheeky humor and a catalog of shout-along choruses that fans of every age know by heart.
