Book Bruce Hornsby
Bruce Hornsby is a pianist, singer and songwriter whose music draws on jazz, bluegrass, folk, rock, jam-band jams and modern classical. He first reached a wide audience with Bruce Hornsby and the Range and their hits "The Way It Is" and "Mandolin Rain," and he took the 1987 Grammy for best new artist. Later Grammy wins came for best bluegrass recording in 1990 and best pop instrumental performance in 1994, three in all. He has made thirteen studio albums, among them Harbor Lights in 1993, Hot House in 1995, Spirit Trail in 1998, Big Swing Face in 2002 and Halcyon Days in 2004, plus a radio session for Marian McPartland's Piano Jazz in 2005.
