Clint Black is an American country singer, songwriter, musician, actor and producer who came out of RCA Nashville in 1989 with Killin' Time, a debut that produced four consecutive number-one country singles. Over the following decades he released thirteen studio albums, among them Put Yourself in My Shoes (1990), The Hard Way (1992), No Time to Kill (1993), One Emotion (1994), Nothin' but the Taillights (1997), Spend My Time (2004), On Purpose (2015) and Out of Sane (2020). He has placed over thirty singles on the US country charts, thirteen of them at number one. Black has received eleven Grammy nominations and won once, for the all-star collaboration "Same Old Train." A Hollywood Walk of Fame honoree, he also received a Tony Award nomination for Best Original Score, started his own label, Equity Music Group, in 2003, and has acted on television and in film, including Maverick. His shows pair traditional-minded country songwriting with a seasoned band and decades of hits.
