Book Austin Nichols

Austin Nichols is an American actor and director best known as Julian Baker on The CW drama One Tree Hill. Born in 1980, he got his start after crashing a Sundance Film Festival party, where a manager signed him, then moved to Los Angeles and earned an English degree from the University of Southern California in 2002. Before graduating he guested on Sliders and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and appeared in the films Durango Kids (1999) and Holiday in the Sun (2001). His breakthrough came in 2002 with a two-episode arc on HBO's Six Feet Under, and he earned critical praise as a college jock in the independent film The Utopian Society (2003). In 2004 he played J.D., Jake Gyllenhaal's romantic rival, in the disaster blockbuster The Day After Tomorrow (2004), and he also appeared in Wimbledon. Later credits include Glory Road (2006) and Parkland (2013), along with a starring role as John Monad in HBO's John from Cincinnati and the part of Spencer Monroe on AMC's The Walking Dead. Nichols brings an easygoing charm and a deep connection with fans of his long-running TV roles to every appearance.
