Book Aubrey Joseph
Aubrey Joseph is an American actor and musician best known for playing Tyrone Johnson, the superhero Cloak, in Marvel's Cloak & Dagger on Freeform. He started his career on stage, playing young Simba in the Broadway production of The Lion King, a part he shared with Judah Bellamy. In January 2017 he landed his first major starring role when he was cast as one of the two leads of Cloak & Dagger, a series set within the Marvel Cinematic Universe and produced by Freeform with Marvel Television. The show ran for two seasons, wrapping in May 2019. Joseph and co-star Olivia Holt then voiced their characters on the Disney XD animated series Spider-Man and later reprised the roles in live action for two episodes of Marvel's Runaways in its last season. Expanding into music, he released his debut album, XXl, on July 24, 2020. In 2025 he appeared in Spike Lee's crime drama Highest 2 Lowest, alongside Denzel Washington. Joseph brings the energy of a Broadway-trained performer, a devoted Marvel fan base and a growing film career to appearances, panels and fan events alike.
