Book Amy Grant
Amy Grant is an American singer-songwriter and musician known as the Queen of Christian Pop, and one of the first contemporary Christian artists to cross over into mainstream pop. Born in 1960, she debuted as a teenager and rose in the 1980s with "Father's Eyes", "El Shaddai" and "Angels". The albums Unguarded and Lead Me On widened her audience in the mid-1980s, and in 1986 her duet with Peter Cetera, "The Next Time I Fall" (1986), went to number one on the Billboard Hot 100. Heart in Motion (1991), her biggest album, spent 32 weeks atop the Billboard Christian albums chart and delivered the pop number one "Baby Baby" plus the top 10 hits "That's What Love Is For", "Every Heartbeat" and "Good for Me". She has won six Grammy Awards from 19 nominations, including Best Gospel Performance, Female, for Lead Me On and Rock Of Ages, along with 22 GMA Dove Awards. Hollywood honored her with a Walk of Fame star in 2006, and she was named to the Kennedy Center Honors in 2022. She also wrote the memoir Mosaic: Pieces of My Life So Far and co-wrote "Breath of Heaven (Mary's Song)".
