Book Selah
Selah is a contemporary Christian vocal trio featuring Amy Perry, Todd Smith and Allan Hall, celebrated for rich harmonies and for giving classic hymns a fresh, modern setting. The group was founded by Todd Smith, his sister Nicol and their friend Allan Hall, and its debut Be Still My Soul in 1999 won a Dove Award, as did the 2001 follow-up Press On. Todd and Nicol grew up in sub-Saharan Africa as the children of missionaries, and the group weaves African musical elements into its sound, singing comfortably in Kituba as well as English. Selah also earned wide attention for renditions of "You Raise Me Up" and "Bless the Broken Road." Its deep catalog includes Hiding Place (2004), Greatest Hymns (2005), You Deliver Me (2009), Hope Of The Broken World (2011), Rose of Bethlehem (2013), Unbreakable (2017), Firm Foundation (2019), One Name (2022), Greatest Hymns, Vol. 3 (2023) and Acapella Worship (2024). Live, Selah offers soaring three-part vocals, beloved hymns and worship songs, and a reverent yet joyful atmosphere that resonates with audiences of every generation.
