Book Amanda Lepore
Amanda Lepore is a model, singer and performance artist who became an icon of New York nightlife as a former Club Kid. She is famed as the longtime muse of photographer David LaChapelle and has also been shot by Terry Richardson and Ruben van Schalm; in LaChapelle's New York exhibit Artists and Prostitutes 1985–2005 she memorably lived inside a life-sized, voyeuristic set. Her music career, often in partnership with rapper and singer Cazwell, includes Introducing... Amanda Lepore (2005) with "Champagne" and "My Hair Looks Fierce," Cazwell And Amanda (2010), I… Amanda Lepore (2011), Doin' It My Way (2012) and a 2015 makeover edition. She sang the main title of Another Gay Movie, covering "I Know What Boys Like," plus "Cotton Candy" for Another Gay Sequel. Lepore toured on the 2007 True Colors Tour headlined by Cyndi Lauper and hosted by Margaret Cho, led the 2010 Sydney Mardi Gras parade as its Chief of Parade, and has made cameos in videos for Elton John, Grace Jones, Thalía and the Dandy Warhols. She delivers pure glamour, high camp and unforgettable nightlife spectacle.
