Book AJ Michalka

AJ Michalka is an American actress, singer and songwriter who has built parallel careers in music and on screen. She is one half of the pop duo Aly & AJ with her older sister Aly, a partnership that performed as 78violet from 2009 to 2013 before reclaiming the Aly & AJ name in 2015. The sisters first reached young audiences together in the Disney Channel Original Movie Cow Belles (2006). Michalka went on to film roles in Peter Jackson's The Lovely Bones (2009), Secretariat (2010), J. J. Abrams' Super 8 (2011), Weepah Way for Now (2015) and Support the Girls (2018), and she earned her first starring film role in the title part of Grace Unplugged (2013). Television audiences know her as Lainey Lewis, a fan-favorite recurring character on the ABC sitcom The Goldbergs (2013), a part she carried into the spin-off Schooled (2019). She also voiced Catra, one of the lead roles, in the Netflix animated series She-Ra and the Princesses of Power (2018), and appeared on The CW's Hellcats. Michalka pairs a musician's stage instincts with an actor's comic timing and warm storytelling.
