Book Why Don't We

Why Don't We were the American pop vocal group made up of Daniel Seavey, Jonah Marais, Corbyn Besson, Jack Avery and Zach Herron, five singers who built a massive young fan base through social media and constant touring. The members met in Los Angeles in 2015 and officially formed the group on September 27, 2016. A month later they released their debut single "Taking You," from the EP Only the Beginning, and they followed it with a steady stream of EPs and singles that kept fans engaged online. Signed to Atlantic Records, they released their first full-length album, 8 Letters, in 2018, featuring the title track and "Hooked," and its success sent them on sold-out tours across North America and abroad. Their second album, The Good Times and The Bad Ones (2021), included "Fallin' (Adrenaline)" and showed a more mature pop sound. Across their run they released two studio albums and six EPs. After a legal dispute halted their touring in 2022, the group formally came to an end in February 2025. Their catalog of harmony-rich pop remains a favorite for a generation of fans.
