Book Timbaland
Born and raised in Norfolk, Virginia, Timbaland is a producer, rapper, singer and songwriter famous for his stuttering, syncopated beats that reshaped R&B and pop. His first major production came on Ginuwine... the Bachelor (1996), and his work on Aaliyah's One in a Million (1996) and Missy Elliott's Supa Dupa Fly (1997) made him one of hip-hop's most in-demand hitmakers. He recorded three albums as half of the duo Timbaland & Magoo and issued his solo debut, Tim's Bio, in 1998. Beginning with "Cry Me a River" in 2002, he produced much of Justin Timberlake's catalog, including FutureSex/LoveSounds (2006) and The 20/20 Experience (2013). His own Shock Value (2007) featured the Hot 100 chart-topper "Give It To Me" plus "The Way I Are" and "Apologize," and Shock Value II (2009) added "Carry Out," "Say Something" and "If We Ever Meet Again." He has crafted records for Beyoncé, Madonna, Rihanna, Jay-Z and Michael Jackson, founded the labels Beat Club and Mosley Music Group, and was named to the Time 100 in 2021. He has won four Grammy Awards and earned 22 nominations. Behind the decks he delivers a live journey through decades of era-defining hits.
