Book Skerryvore

Skerryvore are a Scottish Celtic rock band, founded in 2000 on the island of Tiree by Daniel Gillespie and Fraser West, who first played ceilidh music together at local functions. They took their name from the Skerryvore lighthouse, which stands twelve miles off Tiree's coast, and the lineup grew to include Martin Gillespie and Alec Dalglish, musicians steeped in Scottish tradition on instruments such as bagpipes, accordion and brass. After touring small venues across the Highlands and Islands in 2003, the band went on to release West Coast Life (2006), On the Road (2007), Skerryvore (2010), World Of Chances (2012), Chasing the Sun (2014), EVO (2018), Tempus (2023) and Beautiful Mistakes (2026). Now based in Glasgow, Skerryvore have taken their show to China, the Middle East, the United States and across Europe. Their early music drew on the sounds of their Scottish homeland, while later work folds in rock, pop, jazz, Cajun and country influences. A Skerryvore show is a high-energy celebration, combining soaring pipes, fiddle-driven melodies and a driving rock rhythm section that gets crowds dancing from the first song.
