Shane & Shane is a Texas-based worship duo of Shane Barnard and Shane Everett, celebrated for acoustic praise and worship music built on soaring harmonies. The two met at Texas A&M University, where Barnard led worship at the student gathering Breakaway and Everett became part of the ministry. Barnard is known for his distinctive acoustic guitar strumming and high vocal range, Everett shares lead vocals, and drummer and manager Joey Parish often joins them on stage. Their first album under the Shane & Shane name, Psalms, arrived in 2002, followed by Carry Away (2003), Upstairs (2004), Clean (2004), Pages (2007), Glory in the Highest (2008), Everything Is Different (2009), The One You Need (2011) and Bring Your Nothing (2013). Starting in 2014 they launched The Worship Initiative, an extensive series of volumes, and added Psalms, Vol. 2 (2015), Psalms Live (2016), Hymns, Vol. 1 (2018), Hymns, Vol. 2 (2019) and Hymns in the Round (2020). With some 40 studio releases, Shane & Shane lead audiences in heartfelt, congregation-style worship.
