Book Sam Harris

Sam Harris is an American singer and actor whose powerhouse voice first captured the nation when he became the grand champion singer of Star Search in its debut season in 1983. His show-stopping take on "Over the Rainbow" became his signature song and led to a recording deal with Motown Records. His debut single, "Sugar Don't Bite," reached the Billboard Hot 100 in 1984, launching a recording career that includes the albums Sam Harris (1984), Sam‐I‐Am (1986), Different Stages (1994), Standard Time (1994), On This Night (2000), Always (2001) and Free (2008). Harris has headlined at Carnegie Hall, the Universal Amphitheatre and London's West End, performed with the Boston Pops, and sung at the White House. His 2008 song "War on War" became an online sensation, and his 2010 release "My Reclamation" became an anthem for marriage equality. On Broadway he earned a Drama Desk nomination. Harris brings a theatrical, emotionally charged concert experience that blends pop, standards and musical theatre with warmth and wit.
