Redfoo, born Stefan Gordy, is an American singer, rapper, producer, DJ and tennis player best known as one half of LMFAO, the electro-pop duo he formed in 2006 with his nephew Sky Blu. LMFAO's 2011 singles "Party Rock Anthem" and "Sexy and I Know It" both went to number one on the Billboard Hot 100, and the pair released the albums Party Rock (2009) and Sorry for Party Rocking (2011) before splitting in 2012. Redfoo, the son of music executive Berry Gordy III, started in production in the 1990s, earning his first major credit on Los Angeles rapper Ahmad's "Back in the Day" and co-producing much of that debut album. After signing with Bubonic Records in 1996, he teamed with rapper Dre' Kroon on Balance Beam (1997) and later worked with The Black Eyed Peas on "Duet" from Behind the Front. He released his solo album Party Rock Mansion in 2016, and he has also competed on the ITF men's tennis circuit. Redfoo brings a flamboyant, high-voltage DJ and performance set built on the party anthems that filled dance floors worldwide, complete with shuffling, wild costumes and plenty of crowd interaction.
