Book Quentin Tarantino

Quentin Tarantino is a writer, director, actor and author born in Knoxville, Tennessee, who worked in a Los Angeles video store before turning his love of cinema into Reservoir Dogs in 1992. Pulp Fiction won the Palme d'Or at Cannes and an Oscar for its original screenplay, shared with Roger Avary, and he wrote True Romance. He followed with Jackie Brown, the two-part Kill Bill, Death Proof, Inglourious Basterds, Django Unchained, The Hateful Eight and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Django Unchained earned him a second Oscar, as well as the BAFTA and Golden Globe for screenwriting, and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood won the Golden Globe for best motion picture, musical or comedy. He wrote the novel version of the latter and the film-criticism book Cinema Speculation, and he owns the New Beverly Cinema in Los Angeles. Tarantino speaks with infectious passion about film history, craft and independent storytelling.
