Book NOFX
NOFX were one of the defining names of American independent punk rock. Founded in Los Angeles in 1983 by bassist and singer Fat Mike, guitarist Eric Melvin and drummer Erik Sandin, the band later added El Hefe on lead guitar and trumpet in 1991, completing its best-known lineup. Across four decades they built a huge worldwide audience without ever signing to a major label, moving eight million-plus records on their own terms. Their debut, Liberal Animation, arrived in 1988, and their breakthrough came with Punk in Drublic (1994), a cornerstone of the nineties punk boom. Later favorites include So Long and Thanks for All the Shoes (1997), The War on Errorism (2003) and Wolves in Wolves’ Clothing (2006), with Double Album (2022) closing out their studio run. The band also hosted their own Fuse television series, NOFX: Backstage Passport, in 2008 and played the Warped Tour. Known for fast, funny, politically sharp songs and loose, unpredictable live sets, NOFX played a farewell tour that wrapped in October 2024, after which they retired from the stage.
