Book Metronomy
Metronomy is an English electronic and indie pop band led by founder and songwriter Joseph Mount, who started the project in Totnes in 1999. The current lineup features Mount with Oscar Cash, Anna Prior, Olugbenga Adelekan and Michael Lovett. Seven studio albums chart their evolution from lo-fi bedroom electronics to polished, danceable pop: Pip Paine (Pay the £5000 You Owe) in 2006, Nights Out, The English Riviera in 2011, Love Letters, Summer 08 in 2016, Metronomy Forever in 2019 and Small World in 2022. Mount also earned a reputation as a remixer, reworking tracks for Gorillaz, Franz Ferdinand, Klaxons, Goldfrapp, Lady Gaga and Lykke Li. The band toured on the NME Awards Tour in 2012, has played Primavera Sound, Rock Werchter, Festival No.6 and Glastonbury in 2022, and moved to Ninja Tune in 2024. Their live show pairs matching outfits and choreographed energy with tightly arranged songs.
