With Robert Lopez they created The Book of Mormon (2011), which won Stone three Tony Awards, including Best Book of a Musical and Best Original Score, the Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album and the Laurence Olivier Award for Best New Musical in London. He also co-founded the visual effects company Deep Voodoo. In 2026 he was inducted into the Television Hall of Fame.
