Book Mardy Fish

Mardy Fish is an American former professional tennis player who rose to the top of the men's game as a hardcourt specialist, part of a celebrated wave of U.S. players who emerged in the early 2000s. He turned pro at 18 in 2000 and rose through the Challenger and Futures circuits, winning his first ATP title in doubles with Andy Roddick in Houston in 2002 and his first singles crown in Stockholm in 2003. Across his career he won six ATP Tour singles titles and reached four Masters Series finals, at Indian Wells in 2008, Montreal in 2011 and Cincinnati in both 2003 and 2010. He made Grand Slam quarterfinals at the 2007 Australian Open, the 2008 US Open and the 2011 Wimbledon Championships, and he took the silver medal in men's singles at the 2004 Summer Olympic Games. In 2011 he became the top-ranked American and climbed to a career-high world No. 7, earning a place in the season-ending championships. He played his final match at the 2015 US Open and in 2019 became captain of the U.S. Davis Cup team. Fish speaks on competition, resilience and leadership.
