Book Kes

Kes, also known as Kes the Band, is a Trinidadian soca group that mixes soca with R&B, pop, rock, EDM and reggae into one bright, island-party sound. Formed in 2005 by brothers Kees Dieffenthaller on lead vocals, Hans Dieffenthaller on drums and Jon Dieffenthaller on rhythm guitar, with friend Riad Boochoon on bass, the band has grown into a headline name across the Caribbean and its diaspora. In 2011 Kees was crowned Trinidad and Tobago's International Groovy Soca Monarch, and their hit "Wotless" earned a BET Soul Train Music Award nomination for best Caribbean performance. "Hello" (2017) became the most-streamed soca song of its decade, and in 2020 Kes teamed with Iwer George to win both the International Soca Monarch and Road March titles. Their collaborators range from Snoop Dogg, Major Lazer and Joss Stone to Shaggy, Shenseea, Busy Signal and Tesanne Chin, and has released ten albums, including Three Baldheads and a Dread, Lion, On in 5, Wotless, Stereotype, Wired, Windows to the World, We Home and Man With No Door. A Kes set is pure carnival energy from the first downbeat.
