Book Jake Bugg

Jake Bugg is an English singer-songwriter who blends classic folk storytelling with sharp, guitar-driven rock. Born in 1994, he got his break as a teenager when he was picked to play the BBC Introducing stage at Glastonbury in 2011, at just 16, and signed with Mercury Records that same year. Early songs such as "Country Song" (2011) and "Two Fingers" (2012) won national radio play, and "Country Song" was used in a TV beer commercial. His self-titled debut, Jake Bugg, landed in October 2012, partly co-written with Iain Archer, and critics praised the way it married retro folk with modern rock riffs. He followed it quickly with Shangri La in 2013, then took the production reins himself on much of On My One in 2016. Hearts That Strain (2017), produced by Dan Auerbach, leaned into an acoustic sound, and Saturday Night, Sunday Morning (2021) brought a brighter pop feel. He has appeared on Later... with Jools Holland and supported Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds at Belsonic in Belfast. Live, Bugg offers a lean, honest set of songs carried by his distinctive voice and guitar.
