Book Gillian Jacobs

Gillian Jacobs is an American actress best known as Britta Perry, the self-righteous activist with a big heart on the NBC cult comedy Community (2009), which ran through 2015. The role earned her a 2012 Critics' Choice Television Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy. A Juilliard graduate, Jacobs drew early raves from The New York Times for the Off-Off-Broadway play cagelove in 2006, and she worked in New York theater before her television breakthrough. She went on to star as Mickey Dobbs in the Netflix series Love (2016), appeared in the fourth season of HBO's Girls, and voices Atom Eve in the animated superhero series Invincible (2021). More recently she has played Tiffany Jerimovich on the acclaimed FX series The Bear (2022) and starred as Mary Jayne Gold in Transatlantic (2023), a Netflix limited series. Her film work includes Gardens of the Night (2008), Don't Think Twice (2016), Ibiza (2018), I Used to Go Here (2020), Magic Camp (2020) and the Fear Street trilogy (2021). Smart, funny and refreshingly candid, Jacobs brings the quick comic instincts of an ensemble pro and the depth of a classically trained actor to every stage.
