Book Dayseeker

Dayseeker is an American post-hardcore band from Orange County, California, formed in 2012 and led by vocalist Rory Rodriguez, with bassist Ramone Valerio and drummer Zac Mayfield. The group grew out of members of Arms Like Yours and Southern Lights, signed with InVogue Records in 2013, and released its debut, What It Means to Be Defeated, that October with mastering by Joey Sturgis; a 2014 reissue added acoustic tracks produced with Tom Denney. After moving to Spinefarm Records in 2016, Dayseeker built a steadily growing following with Origin (2015), Dreaming Is Sinking /// Waking Is Rising (2017), Sleeptalk (2019), Dark Sun (2022) and Replica (2024). Their latest album, Creature in the Black Night, arrived in October 2025. Known for pairing heavy, atmospheric guitars with Rodriguez's soaring, emotional vocals, the band has spent years on the road across the United States, from early runs with Kingdom of Giants to the Artery Across the Nation Tour and dates with Hawthorne Heights. A Dayseeker set delivers cinematic, melodic intensity that connects with fans of modern post-hardcore, alternative rock and moody electronic textures alike, drawing on seven studio albums of material.
