Book Cody Jinks
Cody Jinks is an American outlaw country singer-songwriter from Texas whose independent, road-built career has made him a hero to fans of hard-edged traditional country. Before turning to country he fronted and played lead guitar in the Fort Worth thrash metal band Unchecked Aggression, before returning around 2005 to the music he grew up on. Backed by his band The Tone Deaf Hippies, he began releasing country records in 2008 with Collectors Item and Cast No Stones, followed by Less Wise and 30, and found his own sound on the 2013 EP Blacksheep. Adobe Sessions (2015), cut at Sonic Ranch in Tornillo, Texas, led to a tour opening for Sturgill Simpson. His breakthrough came with I'm Not the Devil (2016), a top-five entry on the Billboard Country Albums chart, and Lifers, After the Fire and The Wanting each reached number two on that list. He has kept up a prolific pace with Mercy (2021), Change the Game (2024), Cody Jinks Sings Lefty Frizzell (2024) and In My Blood (2025). Jinks delivers honest, powerful shows rooted in classic honky-tonk.
