Book Cobra Starship
Cobra Starship is the New York dance-rock band founded by Gabe Saporta in 2005, built on a playful blend of synth-pop, rock guitars and hip-hop swagger. Saporta made the debut, While the City Sleeps, We Rule the Streets (2006), largely on his own; it featured "Snakes on a Plane (Bring It)." He then built out a full band: Ryland Blackinton on guitar, Alex Suarez on bass, Nate Novarro on drums and Victoria Asher on keytar, with everyone adding backing vocals. The band followed with ¡Viva La Cobra! (2007), Hot Mess (2009) and Night Shades (2011), scoring two top-10 singles on the Billboard Hot 100 along the way. Cobra Starship hit the road on the Welcome to the Universe Tour (2006), the Hot Mess Across the US Tour (2009) and the My World Tour (2011). After closing the chapter in 2015, the band returned to the stage in 2024 with a set at the When We Were Young festival in Las Vegas, then added 2025 dates at Riot Fest in Chicago and the Warped Tour festival in Long Beach. Expect neon energy, party anthems and crowd sing-alongs.
