Book Brooks & Dunn Reunited
Brooks & Dunn is the country duo of Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn, two singers and songwriters who were each working solo until producer Tim DuBois suggested they team up in 1988. Signed to Arista Nashville, they went on to record eleven studio albums and a Christmas record and to send 20 singles to number one on the Hot Country Songs chart, with 19 more reaching the top 10. "My Maria" and "Ain't Nothing 'bout You" were the year's top country songs in 1996 and 2001, and "Boot Scootin' Boogie" from the 1991 debut Brand New Man helped bring line dancing back into fashion. No act has won more Country Music Association Awards than the pair, who have collected twenty, including Entertainer of the Year in 1996, and in 2026 they received the CMA's Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award. They also won two Grammys for Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal, for "Hard Workin' Man" and "My Maria". Their sound mixes honky-tonk and rock edges with the contrast between Dunn's big voice and Brooks's showman energy, and they continue to tour together.
