Book Brad Stevens
Brad Stevens runs basketball operations for the Boston Celtics as team president and is a widely admired basketball mind. Raised in Zionsville, Indiana, he played at DePauw University, earning all-conference recognition and Academic All-America nominations while studying economics. He walked away from a corporate job at Eli Lilly to volunteer with Butler University's basketball staff in 2000, rose to full-time assistant, and took over as head coach in 2007. His rise was meteoric: 30 wins in his first season, a NCAA record for victories in a coach's first three years, and back-to-back trips to the national championship game in 2010 and 2011, making him the youngest coach ever to reach two Final Fours. He then moved to the NBA to coach the Celtics before shifting into the front office to lead the franchise's basketball operations. Stevens is a sought-after voice on leadership, building culture, analytical decision-making and getting the most out of a team that others overlook.
