Book Bill Belichick

Bill Belichick is the American football coach whose six Super Bowl titles as a head coach are the most in NFL history, and who now leads the North Carolina Tar Heels. A student of the game from childhood, he grew up around football as the son of a Naval Academy coach and played football, lacrosse and squash at Wesleyan University. He rose through the NFL as an assistant, and as defensive coordinator of the New York Giants he helped win two Super Bowls, giving him eight Super Bowl victories as a head coach or coordinator, also a record. After a first head coaching job with the Cleveland Browns in the early 1990s, he took over the New England Patriots in 2000 and built a dynasty. Serving as both head coach and de facto general manager, he guided the Patriots to six championships between the 2001 and 2018 seasons along with a long run of division titles. Known for meticulous preparation, adaptable game plans and a deep knowledge of every position, Belichick speaks with rare authority on leadership, team building, accountability and sustained excellence under pressure.
