Book Louis Prima Jr.

Louis Prima Jr. is a Las Vegas bandleader, singer and trumpet player who carries on the high-energy swing and jump-blues sound made famous by his father, Louis Prima. He grew up around the family business: his mother, singer Gia Maione, taught him drums at age five, and he later picked up piano and trumpet. After years in Las Vegas rock band Problem Child and a long career in hospitality management, he went full-time with music in 2010, fronting Louis Prima Jr. & The Witnesses. That same year the band played the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, and he was there when his father received a posthumous star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The Witnesses have released two albums on Warrior Records, Return of the Wildest (2012) and Blow (2014), the second recorded at Capitol Studios where his parents once recorded. They have toured widely, appeared on Access Hollywood Live and played the first BottleRock Napa Valley festival. Live, expect classics like Jump, Jive an' Wail, Just a Gigolo and That Old Black Magic, a horn section and a packed dance floor, which makes the band a natural fit for galas, corporate parties, casino showrooms and 55+ community events. In summary, Louis Prima Jr. is a music act with an estimated booking fee of $25K–$50K (estimate, not a quote). c-e-l-e-b.com is operated by Altus Entertainment and is not affiliated with the talent.
